1. Signup on SiteW

You just arrived on SiteW.com and you still do not have an account?
To create your website, the first step is to signup for free.

Click on "Sign-up and Create a website" on the top right of the page.

A window pops up containing the signup form. Enter you email address, choose a login (which allows you to enter in the member area) and a password.

Warning, double check your email address!
Once your account created, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address in order to validate your new account.

Once the form filled, submit it. You are then automatically redirected to your account and a window pops-up to create your website.

2. Choose a package

The second step is the creation of your website.

First of all, choose a Package: "Starter" or "Premium" by clicking on the name of the package.

The starter Package is absolutely free. It offers a few templates for your website and the basic blocks: text, image, photo gallery, video, google map and menu.
You can create 5 pages, stock files up to 100Mo and the address of your site will be a subdomain of sitew.com (for example, http://my-website.sitew.com)

The Premium Package offers many more designs and Premium blocks allowing you to build an interactive website: visitors' comments, contact form, music, flash animation, calendar.
You can create 15 pages and stock files up to 300Mo. Moreover, with the Premium package, you have your own domain name (for example, http://www.my-company.com).

Once you chose a package, you can go to the step 2, clicking on the bottom right button.

3. Choose a template

Then choose a the theme that fits best with your website.

Each design is available in hundreds of colors. You can preview the website by letting the mouse cursor over the colors. The screenshot is automatically updated.

Once decided, click on the design and on the color you like.
Its frame becomes green, indicating that your choice is accepted.

Then, go to step 4: the selection of pre-built pages.

4. Insert pre-built pages

In order to build a website quicker and to have a preview of what your website could look like, you can insert pre-built pages. This step is optional and you can also add/delete pages from the website editor.

• Welcome : for the first page of your site
• Contact : with your details and a GoogleMap block showing where your are located on a map.
• Gallery : showing groups of photos within Carrousel modules, and a YouTube video.

5. Choose a name, an address and a description

The next to last step allows you to choose:

• your website name. For example, "Guest house in Dublin", "Hotel in London" ou "Surfing in California"...
• your webiste address. Are allowed lower case letters from a to z, numbers, dots "." and dashes "-". For example, http://dublin-guest-house.sitew.com, http://london-hotel.sitew.com or http://californian-surfer.sitew.com.
  If you chose the Premium package, you can order your own domain name! Your address will not end with .sitew.com but can be http://www.dublin-guest-house.com.
• a description for your website, which will be shown on SiteW.com website directory.
• the keywords associated with your website
• and you can choose whether or not you want to appear in SiteW.com website directory

Fill in the form and click on "Create"

6. Update your website and publish it

Your website is automatically created with your choices and you are redirected to the website editor of SiteW.com

This interactive page allows you to change everything on your new website:

• add text, images, videos, photo galleries...
• change the design
• move, resize and manage the different modules
• ...
